About The Position

Prudential Overall Supply is looking to hire an entry-level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. We are searching for an energetic and goal-driven individual who is looking to be part of a great team. This is a full-time position, NOT seasonal.

Requirements

• Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or cleanroom environment.
• Proficient in the proper use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in the assignment of tasks and goals is preferred.
• Experience in boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC system operation, and general facility repair.
• Prior experience operating and/or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment a plus.
• Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance, repairing, and installing industrial equipment, water systems, and other industrial systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
• Perform carpentry, painting, custodial, and other general facility maintenance.
• Participation in safety committee to maintain and promote a culture of safe practices.
• Must be able to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Working with other employees in a cooperative and professional way.
• Ability to work off shift hours or weekends to accomplish special projects and overhauls.
• Other duties as required.
