The Role Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic A Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Carry out the Company’s maintenance program; provide support and maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems. Fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment. Read & understand engineered drawings, sketches, schematics, and layouts. Experienced in rigging, burning & welding. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; particularly relating to LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry. Operate & diagnose equipment including (but not limited to): AC Motors, DC Motors, Electrical Wiring up to 480V, Pumps, Valves, Gearboxes, Refrigeration Compressors, Cooling Towers, Evaporators, Air Compressors, Boilers, Mobile Equipment, and Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. Note: The duties listed above are not all inclusive and may be subject to periodic updating or revision. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree in Maintenance or related skills trades highly desirable. At least 3-years of recent experience in a preventative maintenance and semi-automated manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills, & Talents Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs with limited supervision. Hands-on electro-mechanical & repair knowledge Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to write and verbally communicate effectively. Working Conditions Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb, Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Full-time position working 5 days per week. Pay and Benefits The starting rate for this position is $34/hr.
