In this role the successful applicant must be proficient in performing repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting on machinery, mechanical equipment, motors, pumps, and production machines, using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. This is a 3rd shift position.

Working in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer specifications.
Observing/listening to all machinery/operating mechanics, equipment, motors, etc., while troubleshooting.
Performing small steel fabrication projects, i.e., repair/fabrication of stairs and platforms.
Working independently and within a team environment while complying with department and company procedures.
Working overtime when required, supporting emergency situations as they arise and supporting department goals.

High School Diploma, GED OR have 2+ years of related technical experience.
5+ years of mechanical/hydraulic experience in industrial and/or commercial environments.

Mechanical training certificate(s) preferred.
Trade/technical school experience is preferred.
