As an Maintenance Mechanic 3, you will: Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times. Trouble shoot, repair and install building and manufacturing equipment. Gather information and feedback from other departments around repairs and efficiency of our machines. Manufacture and assemble replacement parts for manufacturing equipment using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders and other machine shop equipment. Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to perform maintenance functions. Maintain organization's production equipment Perform troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications. This includes machinery and mechanical equipment such as die cutters, web offset printing presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, bindery equipment, ect At Lakeside Book, we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to lift and carry 20-60 pounds
  • Ability to read diagrams, manuals and specifications
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Ability to repair and reproduce parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders and other machine shop equipment
