About The Position
Seattle Central College is looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic 2 in the Facilities Department. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor 3, the Maintenance Mechanic 2 will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance, repair, remodeling and construction of buildings, machinery, systems and equipment. This position will also assist HVAC technicians to complete tasks. This position utilizes a general knowledge of several related skill fields such as plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, and machinist work. This position is typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The schedule may vary depending on program needs. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
