About The Position

Maintenance mechanic responsibilities include conducting inspections, troubleshooting problems, maintaining records, performing routine preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to machinery, equipment, and building systems (like HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry...) to ensure safety, functionality, and efficiency. Able to repair & paint walls. Working off hours, weekend, holidays and responding to emergencies upon request.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, general maintenance tasks and facilities operation.
  • Ability to diagnose and find effective solutions.
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members and other departments, contractors.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders, tight spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Performing daily mechanical rounds and scheduled PM tasks on equipment and building systems to prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other equipment issues.
  • Regularly checking equipment and systems for compliance with safety standards and to ensure they are running efficiently.
  • Promptly addressing emergency requests and faulty equipment.
  • Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Documenting all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Working with other team members and contractors as needed.
