About The Position
Performs a variety of duties to repair and maintain hospital machinery and mechanical equipment. Reports to Manager of Engineering Services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in commercial maintenance preferred.
- Three years experience in electrical, plumbing or HVAC skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports the hospital's Christian mission and philosophy.
- Examines machinery or mechanical equipment and identifies reason for malfunction.
- Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problems.
- Uses hand tools, power tools and testing instruments for repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance repair or replacement of broken parts.
- Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
- Cleans and lubricates parts.
- Orders replacement parts.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
