About The Position

The Maintenance Manager at MAHLE plays a critical role in assisting production to achieve productivity goals by establishing a maintenance regimen that enhances equipment efficiency and minimizes downtime. This position involves overseeing maintenance operations, implementing continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of related experience within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in maintaining a large campus, equipment, machinery, and personnel.
  • Knowledge in IATF16949 Audits and ISO14001 Audits and processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma and Black Belt certification desirable.
  • Experience in high volume medium to large campus operations.
  • Strong communication skills to meet customers, vendors, and leadership team with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist production in achieving productivity goals by setting up a maintenance regiment.
  • Establish and track all TPM's, PPM's and charting to show logics.
  • Update the team on Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership abilities.
  • Identify training needs within the department.
  • Utilize diagnostic skills and root cause analytics.
  • Manage robotics, PLC programs, and schematics/blueprints.
  • Oversee hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Implement preventative and predictable maintenance processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety and environmental processes, including OSHA standards.
  • Manage BOS including Work Order SAP.
  • Conduct talent management and performance assessments.
  • Interface with all levels of management and customers.
  • Prepare and present reports/graphs on required topics.
  • Responsible for all maintenance purchasing functions, including parts crib management.
  • Maintain cost control measures.
  • Communicate effectively and possess software/computer capabilities.
  • Lead new program launches and vendor plant visits.
  • Lead by example and perform other duties as assigned.
