  • Manage day to day activities and workload of the maintenance team including PMs meter reports and daily productivity.
  • Manage all preventative maintenance, building and special projects.
  • Maintain organized daily procedures and recording processes.
  • Assign, verify and participate in the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Responsible for monitoring utility, vendors, equipment, technology, and property productivity and large contract projects.
  • Qualify/manage/oversee relationships for regional subcontractors (electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff and guests to ensure the highest quality of service.
  • Maintain appropriate level of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain building equipment and system (HVAC, Plumbing systems, lighting and Electrical infrastructure).
  • Manage specialized maintenance work (upkeep of elevator, refrigeration units, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot technology, wireless networks, phones and cables.
  • Oversee and manage the integrity of all door locks and key controls.
  • Maintain replacement stock and ordering supplies.
  • Manage Building Exterior and grounds (Landscaping).
  • Work cohesively with Housekeeping department on deep cleaning and furniture upkeep.
  • Train and Supervise maintenance staff and all independent contractors.
  • Conduct training for other departments on the life safe and emergency procedures of the hotel.
  • Maintain adequate staffing and schedules for hotel maintenance and upkeep.
  • OSHA Training and Compliance.
  • Understanding of OSHA and compliance standards.
  • High School GED or Equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
  • EAP certification preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Active driver's license.
  • Knowledge of standard construction procedures and building codes; related permits, licenses and existing codes pertaining to public building and fire safety.
