This position involves daily supervision of maintenance staff members across two properties. The role includes delegating work orders, overseeing special projects, and implementing time management techniques. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and overseeing existing and completed work orders, as well as handling HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and all other service requests. Additionally, the position requires mentoring and training both new and existing maintenance staff members, participating in the interviewing and selection of new team members, and providing written monthly energy management recommendations for the building. The candidate will also identify capital improvements and obtain the necessary estimates and bids, as well as assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.
