Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum seven to ten years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Maintenance Reliability programs.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership ability.
  • Computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Lotus Notes.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Ability to lead the Maintenance team to meet or exceed the company's stated goals and objectives.
  • Experience working with continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality management, lean manufacturing, engineering, technology budgets, safety, production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all technical activities and projects in the plant.
  • Implements a technology strategy to ensure efficient production and high quality products.
  • Delivers against technical performance KPIs, budget and projects.
  • Sets up and executes development plans for production personnel, esp. regarding training in Engineering and technology.
  • Ensures operations processes and solutions are implemented according to global procedures and local regulations.
  • Has legal responsibility for fulfilling SHEQ requirements.
  • Acts as key contact for local authorities in the area of responsibility.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans for the Maintenance functions.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and coach Maintenance personnel performance against those plans.
  • Design and implement effective maintenance strategies, considering factors such as equipment criticality, failure modes, and life cycle costs.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reliability, such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR), to gauge the effectiveness of reliability initiatives.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of equipment and systems to evaluate their reliability, identifying potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze failure data using tools like root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for equipment breakdowns, aiming to prevent future occurrences.
