About The Position

The Maintenance Manager at Resolute Road Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of the maintenance department. This role includes ensuring the upkeep of all private spaces, building exteriors, and public areas, while also managing a team to maintain high standards of service and safety. The position requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, technical crafts, and supervisory experience, with a focus on guest satisfaction and team member development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing preferred.
  • Three to five years in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Pool certification required, or ability to attain within 60 days.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
  • Develop and administer a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor the general condition of the building and surroundings regularly.
  • Maintain knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Manage the sourcing, interviewing, and training of maintenance staff.
  • Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and discrepancies corrected.
  • Monitor supplies and maintain working order of tools and equipment.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted to the General Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working space.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through communication with other departments.
  • Schedule outside contractor work as necessary.
  • Maintain pool and spa, performing chemical testing and maintaining logs.
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints in a friendly manner.
  • Follow company policies and effectively communicate them to subordinates.
