  • Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians and Tool Crib Technicians by modeling Modineer’s core values: Effort, Attitude, and Trust.
  • Instill a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide enriched coaching, performance feedback, and development planning for all team members.
  • Build a data-driven department, using MS Excel and other tools to reduce equipment downtime and MTTR.
  • Design, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs, leveraging data to increase equipment uptime.
  • Use insights to drive improvements, prioritize repairs, and track performance trends.
  • Oversee CMMS utilization and data integrity, ensuring all work orders, PMs, and downtime logs are accurate and actionable.
  • Support Operations by ensuring a safe, reliable, and highly responsive maintenance function.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems and develop innovative solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage multiple internal and external projects, establishing clear timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with Operations and Safety teams and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Manage outside contractors, capital projects, and emergency repairs.
  • Conduct cost analysis, develop annual maintenance budgets, and support capital spending plans.
  • Lead Kaizen activities and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance/operations leadership role.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience, with strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, basic data analysis).
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with:
  • CMMS (FIIX) programs and PM processes
  • Electrical/electronic systems
  • Industrial mechanical troubleshooting (pneumatic, hydraulic, hvac)
  • Welding and using shop tools like mill and lathe
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance/operations leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Finance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of Industrial controls (PLC)
