Job Description Summary: The Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and reliability of all equipment, machinery, and physical facilities at our industrial manufacturing and warehouse site. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of production and facility systems. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, develops preventative maintenance programs, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with operations leadership to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Leadership & Management Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and conducting performance evaluations. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance projects or services. Maintenance Operations Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural). Respond to emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues to restore operations quickly. Monitor spare parts inventory, order supplies, and control maintenance costs within budget guidelines. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, permits, work orders, and safety records. Lead safety initiatives including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, confined space entry, and hazard communication. Continuous Improvement Implement best practices in reliability, energy management, and equipment lifecycle planning. Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to reduce downtime, increase equipment efficiency, and extend asset life. Support capital projects and facility upgrades, providing technical expertise and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role overseeing maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, build engagement, and manage performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software.
