About The Position

Join our high-performing maintenance operations team, where you’ll play a critical role in keeping our facility running safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this role, you’ll lead maintenance and operations activities that support our goals while driving continuous improvement in quality, safety, and performance. What You’ll Do Lead the day-to-day operations for your area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, safety, and operational efficiency, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with associates, leaders, customers, and suppliers—both verbally and in writing—to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and support smooth facility operations. Forecast and manage staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands, monitoring key metrics and taking action to address gaps. Oversee financial performance in your area by tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Ensure compliance with logistics, company, and regulatory quality and safety standards by developing, maintaining, and communicating procedures and documentation. Lead, coach, and develop associates and leaders by providing direction, feedback, training, and growth opportunities, and by actively participating in hiring, promotion, performance coaching, and evaluation. Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring the effective upkeep of warehouse equipment (e.g., material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, general building repairs) and adherence to state and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT) related to maintenance activities. Bring solid knowledge of maintenance operations, including material handling equipment and building systems, and are comfortable overseeing work that impacts production reliability. Are skilled at interpreting and acting on business and financial reports, budgeting, and asset utilization to drive cost-effective decisions. Demonstrate deep familiarity with applicable safety and regulatory standards (such as OSHA and other federal and state requirements) and are committed to maintaining a safe, compliant operation. Excel at leading and developing teams—communicating clearly, giving actionable feedback, resolving concerns, and building a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee on-hand inventory for maintenance and operations, ensuring critical spare parts availability to support uninterrupted operations. Proactively manage spares strategy to reduce equipment downtime, improve asset reliability, and increase mean time between failures (MTBF). Bring a strong, hands-on operations background with demonstrated success in maintenance environments. Effectively lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams to execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies while driving safety, efficiency, and performance standards. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification (e.g., Maintenance, Controls, Electrical) and 1 year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment with responsibilities including: supervising and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload across multiple departments, participating in hiring and promotions. OR at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance or related technical environment with the same leadership and staffing responsibilities listed above.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
  • Have strong experience leading maintenance and/or operations in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment, with a track record of meeting performance, safety, and quality goals.
