About The Position

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the plant maintenance department by leading technicians, training personnel, administering eMaintenance CMMS, maintaining spares inventory, leading/maintaining projects, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment, including PLC, DCS and multiple systems.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.
Ability to work in a demanding environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3+ years of managerial experience.
Understanding of machine control systems, electrical schematics.
Welding/Fabrication knowledge.
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics repair and troubleshooting.
Experience with maintenance CMMS work order systems.
Ability to understand mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings.
Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
PLC certified

Ability to use CAD software to create mechanical drawings desired.

Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
Keep safety in the forefront of the team’s thinking and approach to work.

Ensure that the maintenance team follows LOTO and other safety rules without exception.
Ensure the timely and correct execution of PM and CM work from CMMS system.
Achieve low levels of unplanned machine downtime.
Own plant capital list and CAR system for the facility.
Oversee maintenance spending and adhere to budget.
Lead maintenance team to safety, quickly, and effectively complete tasks with a customer centered approach, minimizing downtime and negative impact on service levels to customers.
Perform RCA’s and use problem solving tools to continuously improve machines and processes.
