The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, managing, and monitoring facility maintenance staff, requirements, and work within the Maintenance Department. This includes installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating all facility equipment and instrumentation. The role also involves planning and conducting major outages, implementing and directing effective preventative maintenance (PM) programs, and managing lubrication plans. The manager will oversee all mechanical and E&I maintenance functions in accordance with company safety and maintenance standards and procedures, analyze and resolve work problems, and motivate staff to achieve work goals. Key responsibilities include supervising department activities, preparing and scheduling work orders, selecting, training, developing, and evaluating maintenance staff, administering predictive analysis programs, and managing outside contractors. The position also entails maintaining facility maintenance records, managing spare parts inventory, overseeing the Maintenance Shop, interpreting specifications, and assigning duties. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for budget development and tracking, maintaining department morale, fostering teamwork, ensuring safety, and investigating accidents.
