The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of all maintenance systems, including production machinery, refrigeration, HVAC, and general facility equipment. This role involves working with purchasing for parts, overseeing repairs, and advising on equipment improvements. A key aspect is managing maintenance systems such as Root Cause Analysis and Reliability-Centered Maintenance to maximize plant capacity and minimize costs. The manager will effectively lead and develop the maintenance staff, ensuring a safe working environment and promoting plant safety in compliance with federal and state regulations. This position also entails developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and tracking Key Performance Indicators. Diversified duties include installing and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, performing repairs, welding, and conducting preventative maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Manager acts as a lead, providing training, mentoring, scheduling, and guidance to the maintenance leadership team, fostering a positive work environment, and resolving feedback and concerns. Accurate recordkeeping of all maintenance work, updating history logs, and adhering to company GMP policy are also essential functions. Travel to other facilities or company events may be required.
