About The Position

Wally’s is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead facility operations and oversee preventative maintenance across our high-volume location. This role is responsible for ensuring the building, equipment, and grounds consistently meet Wally’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. The Maintenance Manager serves as the primary leader for maintenance planning, execution, team development, and accountability. Requirements

  • Facilities or maintenance experience
  • Comfortable managing preventative maintenance programs, work order systems, and small teams.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building repair
  • Experience coordinating vendors and maintenance personnel
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Comfort responding to urgent facility issues when needed
  • Flexibility is required, including availability for weekends, peak business periods, and occasional overnight or rotating schedules.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking (8–12 hours)
  • Frequent bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage structured maintenance schedules that ensure preventative tasks, deep cleans, inspections, and special projects are completed consistently and on time.
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, performance conversations, and hands-on training.
  • Reinforce safety standards, equipment operation, chemical handling procedures, and proper use of PPE.
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to align maintenance priorities with operational needs, inspections, audits, and seasonal demands.
  • Serve as the point of accountability for project follow-through, corrective actions, and documentation.
  • Anticipate facility needs before they become problems
  • Manage vendor relationships effectively
  • Respond confidently to urgent repair or operational issues.
