About The Position

The beautiful Residence Inn by Marriott has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Manager ! You will be responsible for the properties daily and preventive maintenance along with any remodeling projects that may be needed. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, first shift with flexibility for other shifts depending on demand. Requirements

• Experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the company
• Ability to complete certifications in OSHA, pool operations, CPO certification, Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, or licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter

Nice To Haves

• College or advanced vocational training preferred

Responsibilities

• Managing daily maintenance of a 111-room property
• Overseeing and handling preventative maintenance initiatives
• Hands on involvement with remodeling and refurbishing projects
• Installing new equipment
• Light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and systems troubleshooting and repairs
• Collaborating with subcontracts as needed
• Monitoring the department budget and controlling expenses
• Maintaining the pool and accompanying equipment
