About The Position

Tejas Tubular Products, a leading manufacturer of Oil Country Tubular Goods, is hiring a Maintenance Manager for our Stephenville, TX Tubing Facility at 600 Caporal Ln. Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.

Requirements

  • Extensive equipment knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, as it relates to equipment and processes.
  • Able to read and analyze drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of maintenance management experience required.
  • Experience using Maintenance Management Software.
  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
  • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mobile equipment maintenance (diesel) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
  • Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
  • Develops maintenance procedures and schedules in the designated system.
  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
  • Manages capex for the facilities equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
