About The Position

Barton Supply is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations across all company locations. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly high-voltage (460-volt) equipment, and hands-on experience with rebar and steel fabrication machinery. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance, particularly within the construction supply or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in high-voltage electrical systems and experience with steel fabrication machinery.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in team management and training.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with production management software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve complex issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment including, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyers and overhead cranes.
  • Have welding, cutting, and fabrication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing rebar cutters, benders, welding machines, and other steel fabrication equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, focusing on 460-volt systems while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Train and support the maintenance team while managing work orders and task assignments.
  • Collaborate with vendors for specialized repairs and ensure an adequate supply of parts and materials for all necessary repairs.
