Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime. Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions. Manage repair and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment, including infrastructure, tools, and replacement parts. Develop strategies to identify safety problems and institute solutions. Supervise and manage maintenance team members, ensuring effective allocation of tasks and resources. Lead teams to improve the efficiency and quality of operations. Liaise with other departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on operational needs. Assist quality manager in developing root cause analysis of potential quality problems and work with technicians to implement corrective actions. Develop process procedures for technicians to follow. Proactively engage and support company initiatives to promote safety, environmental protection, and continual improvement. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to improve processes and ensure long-term reliability. Negotiating with outside vendors/contractors for supplies, repairs, and capital purchases. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory. Manage maintenance budgets and optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining high standards. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical principles, practical troubleshooting, and process theory in plastics injection molding and injection blow molding. Requirements

  • Work experience: 8-10 years working in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management in plastics manufacturing required.
  • Education: High School diploma and secondary engineering or technician training or equivalent experience required.
  • BS in engineering desired.
