About The Position

The Building Operations Manager ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a 120,000 square-foot corporate campus and Medina Country Club. This role oversees daily building operations, coordinates with internal teams and external vendors, monitors preventive maintenance schedules, and supports business continuity through oversight of power systems and emergency response procedures. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to urgent facility-related needs. Requirements

  • Experience in facilities operations, simple construction, maintenance coordination, or related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with building systems and safety procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate vendors and manage contracts
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and general facility systems
  • Ability to multitask and respond effectively to urgent issues
  • Comfort with inspections, preventive maintenance cycles, and follow‑up tracking

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all building-related issues and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Manage vendor contracts, service schedules, and performance
  • Track facility-related expenses, review invoices, and approve payment
  • Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify and address preventive maintenance need
  • Oversee recurring maintenance cycles, including pest control, deep cleaning, lighting checks, gutter and roof cleaning, AED inspections, and seasonal equipment preparation
  • Coordinate and manage required inspections, including elevators, fire protection systems, HVAC, and fitness center equipment, commercial kitchen systems & appliance
  • Support company vehicle maintenance, including insurance coordination, registration, and overall cleanliness
  • Perform monthly generator checks and support biannual load testing, including coordination with city officials
  • Verify proper power distribution across campus and maintain operational familiarity during power outages and emergency situations
