About The Position

As a Maintenance Manager, you will manage, lead, and coordinate activities of your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards. You will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing your team members while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work. You will also foster a safe work environment, ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met, and be responsible for the proper management of the day-to-day operational environmental issues. Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility's continuous improvement initiatives Work with team members to develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget Establish departmental goals and objectives to maintain a low cost high efficient operation Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies to reduce operating cost Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or reliability focused role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, industrial services, military or related within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 1+ years of supervisory experience
