We’re hiring a Maintenance Manager at our rental facility in Amarillo, TX, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Primary Responsibilities Maintain superior performance of equipment and supervise a team of technicians. The Maintenance Managers provide customers with all pertinent information about the company’s product or service offerings. They also manage a team of people to ensure optimum service delivery, resulting in maximum productivity and client satisfaction. Although they are not the first point of contact for customers, Maintenance Managers possess extensive knowledge of the standards and procedures that the organization uses. They work across a number of industries including retail, manufacturing, technology and more.

Requirements

  • Industry knowledge (this can be in the rental industry or a related construction field), innovative and dependable.
  • Ideally three years of maintenance and service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company and be able to quickly educate themselves about and stay up-to-date on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of self-propelled platforms and lifts
  • Knowledge of work planning and scheduling and other supervisory activities
  • Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements
  • Clear perspective of maintenance and repair issues in the industry
  • Planning and management experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Reporting experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more at times
  • Require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees preventative maintenance services and inspections of equipment
  • Coordination and supervision of quality performance of our equipment mechanics and service personnel
  • Scheduling repairs for customer and company owned rental equipment
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied with the level of service and support they are receiving from EquipmentShare and are being kept up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications.
  • Employee training and development and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Developing and implementing service standards and procedures for the service delivery department
  • Supervising other members of the service team
  • Maintaining customer relationships and improving response and delivery times
  • Updating service methods to improve overall efficiency
  • Resolving any service problems and customer complaints
  • Conducting periodic appraisals of team members and identifying areas for improvement
  • Creating and presenting regular reports to senior management
  • Developing contracts for Commercial Contractors and Developers who have ongoing rental or purchase needs
  • Instructing customers on equipment operation, care and maintenance
  • Inspecting rental equipment on return, looking for any damage and returning deposits
