The Maintenance Manager leads maintenance operations at our Bakery Feeds facility, where bakery residuals are converted into high-quality animal feed through a grinding and drying processes. This role oversees a crew of three maintenance employees and supports a 24-hour, 3-shift production operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (Technical training or associate degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanical and electrical systems
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work off-hours or respond to emergency calls when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with grinding, drying, conveying or similar process equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise a maintenance team of 3 technicians
  • Ensure efficient operation of grinding, drying, conveying and material handling equipment
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues
  • Maintain maintenance records and ensure proper use of CMMS software
  • Collaborate with production and other departments on equipment needs and improvements
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed
  • Enforce all safety and compliance requirements across maintenance activities
  • All other duties as assigned.
