Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems and industrial equipment repair. This individual will oversee maintenance operations across multiple locations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, facility reliability, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with leadership experience and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance management, Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Prove experience in managing company relocations, including relocation of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and mechanical components.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team during relocation projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with single and 3 phase electrical required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over two-thirds of workday.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to climb ladders and operate machinery to include but not limited to Lifts, Ladders, Skid steers.
  • Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers.
  • Fine motor skills required to use small parts in assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and schedules to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure across all locations.
  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, and support personnel, providing direction, training, and performance oversight.
  • Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems.
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment assessments to identify risks, infrastructure needs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities across all three facilities to ensure operational continuity and efficient resource allocation.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external contractors for specialized maintenance, inspections, and facility upgrades.
  • Oversee machine shop and repair operations, including fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly of components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, asset history, spare parts inventory, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and local building codes.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce reactive maintenance, and increase operational efficiency.
