About The Position

The Maintenance Manager at Veris Residential is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the luxury apartment community, Signature Place, in Morris Plains, NJ. The position requires a proactive approach to building maintenance and operations, with a focus on customer service and effective vendor management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in apartment maintenance and building trades, including plumbing and HVAC.
• CPO and EPA Universal Certifications.
• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Current, valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Previous experience in residential real estate or hospitality industries.
• Professional appearance and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to residents and manage vendors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance team and daily building operations.
• Ensure timely completion of resident work requests, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Maintain the physical property's condition, value, and appeal.
• Oversee emergency and on-call situations as needed, including some weekends.
