About The Position

The Maintenance Manager at Sage Lodge is responsible for maintaining the building's physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure they function efficiently. This role involves managing a team, ensuring security and cleanliness, and overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, completing work orders, and addressing any safety concerns promptly. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, or blueprints.
• Ability to effectively perform painting, woodworking, and general carpentry.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform maintenance and general repair.
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building's physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage a group of team members.
• Ensure security, cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and repair of all engineering department tools and equipment.
• Keep maintenance and engineering storerooms and workspaces clean and orderly.
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide open and effective communication and address issues promptly.
• Respond to after-hour calls as necessary.
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
