SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability of production equipment.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience : 6 plus years maintenance experience.
• Computer Skills : Standard computer skills.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; some public speaking skills.
• Special Skills : Industrial Maintenance in fields such as electrical , refrigeration , hydraulics or mechanical.
• Supervisory : Responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform similar or interrelated tasks.
• Travel : 1-5 domestic trips per year.

Responsibilities

• assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
• ensure that all maintenance personnel are well trained on the most updated version of operating equipment as well as other maintenance skills
• provide a safe workplace and comply with all safety and regulated programs
• monitor operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime , anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner and identify immediate response issues
• maintain a computerized maintenance management system ( SAP ) for tracking work orders adequate and confirm an appropriate inventory of replacement parts
• make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems through analyzing data
• ensure that all maintenance personnel are motivated so maintenance programs and processes can be accomplished in a safe , timely and efficient manner
• maintain a tracking system that assists in analyzing key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization , maintenance cost , PM compliance etc
• ensure all maintenance personnel are in compliance with health and safety polic ies
• monitor use of all parts , equipment materials and supplies utilized in the maintenance department
• administer the maintenance budget and ensure the achievement of financial goals
