About The Position
The position involves daily supervision of maintenance staff members, including the delegation of work orders, management of special projects, and implementation of time management techniques. The role requires inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders, ensuring that all service requests related to HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other maintenance needs are addressed efficiently. Additionally, the position includes mentoring and training both new and existing maintenance staff members, as well as participating in the interviewing and selection process for new team members. The individual in this role will also provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building, identify capital improvements, and obtain the necessary estimates or bids for these projects. Furthermore, assistance in budget preparation for maintenance expenses is a key responsibility.
