What you’ll do: JOB SUMMARY: In the Maintenance – Level II position, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property. Performs various property maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on common areas to Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor Performs on-call emergency service as required Assists Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor with special maintenance projects as necessary Assists in maintaining grounds and common areas and keeping them free from trash and debris Assists in monitoring and/or controlling maintenance inventory and/or supplies Delivers various communications to residents or guests as needed Assists with and attends property-sponsored activities and functions Performs other duties as assigned SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) to three (3) years of hands-on general maintenance experience (i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) Basic aptitude and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and functions Experience or knowledge of lawn care, trees and shrubs, and pool maintenance preferred Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail Valid driver’s license and good driving record PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
