Requirements
- General maintenance or facilities experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or refrigeration systems
- Ability to perform both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and follow safety procedures
- Good communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
Nice To Haves
- Electrical experience strongly preferred (troubleshooting, wiring, basic repairs)
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain positive village and community relations
- Complete a variety of repair and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot: Machinery and mechanical equipment Heating and air conditioning systems Ventilation systems Electrical wiring and components Plumbing systems Refrigeration systems
- Perform outdoor grounds work, including: Lawn and shrubbery care Sidewalk, road, and parking lot upkeep Snow removal
- Assist with scheduled and preventive maintenance for buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles
- Maintain accurate written records of completed maintenance work
- Assist with fire alarm systems, emergency generators, and fire/disaster drills
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area
- Inform the Maintenance Director of equipment or supply needs
- Assist with inventory tracking as requested
- Demonstrate competency in required training and education
- Perform other duties as assigned
