How will you make a difference? As a member of the Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for Supporting/Driving machine uptime driven from Maintenance Activities, Project Investment, Continuous Improvement, or other initiatives. This position requires working onsite.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors/associates degree or certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in CNC maintenance, installation and repair on a variety of brands and types of machinery
  • Basic CNC programming and operation skills is required
  • Experience with CNC machines and CNC machine maintenance is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs is required
  • Understanding of safety compliance and guidelines involved with manufacturing, including, but not limited to, machine guarding, lock-out/tag-out, and more
  • Above average mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roles as technician / applications engineer for a CNC Machine Tool Manufacturer or Authorized Aftermarket Service Provider desired
  • CNC maintenance training or certificates a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, support and at times lead cross-functional teams driving improvements in Machine Performance.
  • Demonstrated successful “hands on” approach in the area of Maintenance, Maintenance Improvements, Rebuilds and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Mentor and Train other maintenance technicians in proper techniques in the performance of machine maintenance, adjustments, and rebuilds.
  • Drive standardization of Maintenance training, tool usage, and execution within the shop.
  • Provide technical knowledge in the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery, accessories, and automation equipment
  • Assist in identifying, maintaining and managing repair parts inventory
  • Identify, document, and drive adherence to preventive maintenance on CNC machines
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement improvements and upgrades
  • Aid in the capture of detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Other relevant duties as assigned (to ensure the safety, quality, performance, and cleanliness of our operations)
