About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
Must have at least 6 months of Industrial Maintenance experience with one employer within the last 2 years or at least 1 year of education beyond high school in the industrial maintenance field documented on your application and/or uploaded resume.
REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 181 DAY WAIT PERIOD, determined from their last date of employment, to apply for FOOD SERVICE.
CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE.
MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Responsibilities

Performing other duties as tasked by administration
Observing all of Tyson’s policies and procedures
