We are currently searching for a Maintenance Lead to be based out of Tampa, FL. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Lead will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and providing oversight to Maintenance Technicians
Requirements
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Good understanding of basic math required
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to operate Power Industrial Equipment
- 5 Years of Maintenance Technician experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and providing oversight to Maintenance Technicians
- Knowledgeable in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Provide ongoing support to Maintenance Technicians and report issues as needed to department manager
- Perform preventative maintenance checks as prescribed in PM sheets weekly or as directed
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment
- Clean chilled water system filters
- Check and change oil in all gear boxes
- Grease all motor and pump bearings
- Cut and replace filter media in air filters on extruder control cabinets
- Clean water filters on cooling and vacuum tanks
- Assist Tool/Die and extrusion lines setup to minimize downtime
- Adhere to all lock out/tag out procedures
- Offer suggestions for performance evaluation ratings and oversee the duties of Maintenance Technicians
- Perform all job duties using safe work methods
- Ability to work at elevated heights
