About The Position

We are seeking Maintenance Lead to support us in overseeing and managing of a commercial facility. In this role, you will support facility operations and directing maintenance staff and vendors to ensure process are clearly defined and effectively implemented to support a safe and operable facility. The Maintenance Lead trains and instructs the on-site maintenance staff and participates in the diagnosis of problems and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other areas as needed. Please note this a FT Regular position. JBCSML01 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead maintenance initiatives onsite, including programing, planning, and executing on facility systems maintenance and repair. Inspect facility and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type and number of operation and maintenance personnel or vendors needed. Ensure work completed by staff and/or contractors has been completed satisfactorily. Provide feedback, set expectations, follow up on deficiencies. Troubleshoot failed equipment and provide recommended repair methods. Assist in minor repairs on general facility equipment and systems (i.e. electrical, plumbing, doors, gate systems, HVAC, conveyance, etc.). Coordinate and manage major repairs and project work with vendors. Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians as needed. Ensure the facility is safe, in good repair, and attractive. Assist with operations and ensuring the facility is in compliance with all regulations. Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns. Foster positive communications and relationship with tenants, owners, and building staff. Coordinate with team to assist in the preparation of the annual maintenance budget. Respond appropriately to urgent, emergency, or after-hour issues as they arise. Track work performed through a computer maintenance management system (CMMS). Use organizational skills to keep work areas, parts inventory, and tools neat and accountable. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Certification or Degree in Maintenance Management or similar field, or equivalent experience preferred. May be substituted with High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in a similar maintenance management role. Two + years of experience of related industry maintenance work. Comprehensive knowledge of facility equipment and facility maintenance programs and procedures. Strong knowledge of safety principles and practices. Considerable knowledge of PC operations and software are required. Proficient typing skills are also required.
