OVERVIEW Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day and long-term operations of the maintenance department, including upkeep of all private spaces, building exterior, and public and back-of-house spaces.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or related field required
  • Must work well in high pressure situations
  • Consistent attendance in accordance with the standards set forth by Resolute Road Hospitality must be maintained and is an essential element of success in this role. If the Maintenance Lead is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on management operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner. Ensure all work orders are properly documented
  • Monitor the general condition of the building and surroundings at all times by walking the property regularly
  • Maintain knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, and hotel shuttle
  • Maintain knowledge of local building c ode and other applicable building laws, blueprint reading, and building construction
  • Manage the sourcing, interviewing, culture training and ongoing development of the maintenance department
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
  • Set up, tear-down, and service of banquets and meeting rooms
