About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members. Be mindful and considerate of team members opinions and request. Send out daily reports to other leads, supervisors, and managers. · Clear and Calm Speech: Even when things get stressful, speaking in a calm manner can ease tension. This means communicating clearly and kindly, without talking down to anyone, so that everyone feels respected and understood. Record Keeping: Keep track of records, reports, and training materials. Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance personnel and other departments. Work closely with technicians on other department concerns that may be maintenance-related and address them efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems with equipment. Leadership: Have strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the maintenance team. Attention to details: Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed accurately and safely. Oversee daily activities of maintenance technicians, ensure that all tasks are completed effectively. Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency. Keeping track of team members breaks. Integrity: Be honest and consistent, people trust a leader who sticks to their word. Consistency and Reliability: Integrity involves aligning what you say with what you do. When leaders consistently follow through on promises and maintain a steady course of action, it builds a foundation of trust. Your team knows they can rely on you, even during tough times. Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years maintenance experience or graduate of industrial maintenance training program or combination of experience and education to meet the 2 year requirement
