About The Position

A high-performing Maintenance team is essential to our operation. As a Maintenance Lead, you will lead maintenance activities across the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a strong safety culture while guiding your team to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations

Requirements

  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires a well-organized individual that is self motivated and takes charge, is dependable and responsible, enjoys new opportunities and challenges, enjoys working with and developing people, deals with criticism calmly and effectively, is attentive to detail and is thorough in completing tasks as assigned and on time, is flexible and open to change.
  • Must be knowledgeable in pneumatic, electric, & steam systems & their associated components, liquid pumps (PD & centrifugal), PLC’s, HMI’s, electric motors, and gearboxes.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, electric and pneumatic schematics, general business periodicals, and or governmental regulations in English.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, staff and managers.
  • Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, Division and fractions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee is required to regularly stand, stoop, kneel and walk.
  • The employee must frequently lift and or move 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting a skilled maintenance team through daily operations
  • Overseeing machine maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and facility upkeep
  • Supporting installation of new equipment, construction projects, and food safety work orders
  • Planning, monitoring, and supervising work activities in your assigned area
  • Driving efficiency and performance using sound maintenance principles and best practices
  • Rolling up your sleeves to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Coaching operators and line mechanics on safe and effective equipment operation
  • Assisting with fabrication, preventative maintenance, and routine equipment checks
  • Training and mentoring maintenance team members and supporting associate development
  • Promoting a clean, organized, and safe work environment through 5S practices
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, part usage tracking, and daily schedules
  • Making sure repairs fix the root cause, not just the symptom
  • Communicating clearly across all maintenance shifts
  • Covering the floor as needed to maintain peak production efficiency and food safety excellence
