About The Position

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Lead Person to manage, train, and direct maintenance crew, as well as perform various maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Manager. Requirements

  • Able to obtain a valid Forklift Certification.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in welding with TIG and MIG on stainless and black Steel. Welds must pass food grade requirements.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Able to train new team members as required.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of basic electrical safety Procedures; including chlorine hazards, confine space and Lockout/Tag out procedures.
  • Knowledge of all phases of mechanical equipment including reduction gear and double reduction gear, bearings, belting, and pumps.
  • Ability to understand and follow the facilities Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S).
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and professional attitude towards employees, visitors and vendors.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Able to train and re-train on all of the above trades.

  • $24.00 - $30.00 / HOUR Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
