We are seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our building. The role involves performing cleaning, maintenance, and security duties to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.
Clean and supply designated building areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a clean environment.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Proven working experience as a janitor.
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
Integrity and ability to work independently.
High school diploma or GED.
Spanish language skills.
Experience in groundskeeping.
Competitive hourly wage starting from $17.50 per hour.
Part-time work schedule with expected hours of 40 per week.
