About The Position

We are seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our building. The role involves performing cleaning, maintenance, and security duties to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a janitor.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills.
• Experience in groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a clean environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
