About The Position

We have an immediate opening to oversee the retail center. Candidates should have strong communication skills, janitorial or related experience, and be able to work with customers and vendors. Responsibilities include quality control checks, scheduling, and administrative tasks. A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to communicate via email, phone, and text. Full-Time Maintenance Janitorial Supervisor -Location: Kapolei, HI 96707 -Benefits: Competitive pay, 401(k) plan, Vacation, Holiday, Healthcare plan (medical, vision and prescription drug insurance), dental insurance, vision insurance, direct deposit option, flexible spending options. -Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively and understand English with team and property managers Respond to emails, phone calls, and communicate effectively with team and property manager Managing and supervising a janitorial team requires a combination of leadership, organization, and communication skills. Review and submit time cards in a timely manner Pickup supplies Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the building Clean restrooms, parking lot, walk path, and restock supplies Remove and dispose trash to designated areas Use of a pressure wash machine Use of a leaf blower/handheld blower Push trash bins as needed Stand and walk for extended periods Utilize a smartphone to upload information online, communicate by email, respond to phone calls and text messages Follow safety procedures Report safety issues or building problems (i.e. burnt light bulbs, etc.) Perform all other duties as assigned -Schedule: Monday to Friday: 5:00am to 1:30pm (On-call to respond to emergencies as needed, 40 hours a week) -Compensation per hour: $19.00 -Skills/Qualifications: Must pass background check High school diploma/GED preferred Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Must have good public relations skills and communication Applicants must perform basic manual labor, painting, stain wood, clean common areas, press, push, pull, frequently lift 40lbs, carry a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, walk, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down the stairs and use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts. Requirements

Must pass background check
High school diploma/GED preferred
