About The Position

Summary Maintenance / Janitor Clean building floors and rugs by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.Gather and empty trash. Service, clean and supply restrooms.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Minor maintenance including replacing light bulbs, repairs and other jobs required as store needsMove heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.Clear debris from grounds and store.Notify Store Manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.Remove snow from sidewalks using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare store for events.Clean windows, glass doors in departmentsHourly Gleason store walksAny additional requests by management staff LOT PERSON RESPONSIBILITIES Greeting and assisting customers in the front area of the store. Maintaining safety and cleanliness of entry ways and floors. Collecting Carts. Maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Direct traffic during busy times

Requirements

• Possesses good listening and communication skills
• Displays a friendly, outgoing attitude
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using various equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to start 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Any additional requests by management staff
