About The Position

DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced Maintenance - Infrastructure SME to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with federal staff, providing management, engineering and technical services on matters related to cybersecurity posture, and ensuring that cyberspace controls are implemented according to applicable documentation. This position is onsite at Scott AFB, IL.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations or related filed.
  • Must possess an IAT Level II certification
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain within 6-months, a certification related to the specifics of the work performed on the contract.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience managing Active Directory: creating, modifying, and managing user accounts, groups, and permissions; deploy and maintain Active Directory structure that align with organizational requirements and best practices; develop and enforce Group Policies; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, etc.
  • Very strong in the use of VMWare and vSphere
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) system
  • Strong Experience with network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate network infrastructures including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance, efficiency, and security.
  • Respond to network issues and outages in a timely manner, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Install and configure network devices and software to support mission requirements.
  • Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory, and configuration information.
  • Implement and adhere to network security policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cyber defense teams to exchange cyber threat intelligence and coordinate incident response activities.
