About The Position

The Maintenance II performs all duties on 3-phase electrical equipment, conducting advanced troubleshooting and repairs. They ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, maintain CNC equipment, and communicate effectively to support business targets while influencing departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Electrical Associate Degree or Certified 3-phase Electrical License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years prior maintenance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Prior experience with preventative maintenance skills.
  • Prior experience working with CNC equipment.
  • Prior experience working with 3-phase electrical
  • Certified 3-phase electrical license

Responsibilities

  • Conduct residential electrical work.
  • Work on 3-phase electrical equipment and conduct advanced troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical equipment such as winders, HMIs, PLC/Drive faults, and limited portions of CNC electricals.
  • SME on Equipment: Serve as an SME on most equipment and provide planning and knowledge transfer for machine moves, additions, and modifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including checking functionality of interlock systems, repairing/replacing electrical components in control cabinets, and installing new equipment electricals to a CNC.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside of the function.
  • Support the achievement of business targets with moderate impact on departmental results.
  • Work to influence parties within the department at an operational level.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
