Maintenance II
About The Position
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Maintain and repair all equipment within the yard. Change liners, belts, pulleys, electrical motors, bearings, gear boxes and other necessary equipment. Assist other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects. Operate mobile equipment as needed. Work in outdoor and indoor environments. Minor cleanup and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexible to work off hours and overtime.
- Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience preferred.
