About The Position

As Maintenance II, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing setting. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems. You will work collaboratively with a team of maintenance professionals to minimize downtime and optimize production processes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED. vocational or technical training is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in maintenance field OR combination training + experience.
  • Knowledge/experience troubleshooting/repairing automated equipment including PLC, Servo motor, and VFD.
  • Ability to use basic math in all units of measure, compute rate, ration, and percent
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and production staff.
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting ladder logic/schematics a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform repairs on machinery, including but not limited to, motors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex issues and support larger maintenance projects. Work closely with Maintenance Manager and team members to share knowledge and improve overall maintenance processes.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
  • Provide detailed reports on completed work and recommend improvements for future maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address equipment-related concerns.
