About The Position

A Maintenance I performs all complex mechanical equipment repairs. They perform routine CNC maintenance, demonstrate high proficiency in tasks, communicate with various contacts, and facilitate team activities, contributing to business targets and mentoring junior members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct residential electrical work, maintain non-technical equipment, and install electrical conduit. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical equipment such as hydraulic presses, manual mills, manual lathes, and limited mechanical portions of CNCs. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including checking spindle runout, inspecting covers, checking for leaks, and performing vibration monitoring for critical motors/spindles. Accurately level a CNC using machine levels. Demonstrate high reliability, competency, and proficiency with assigned tasks. Work to support the achievement of business targets with moderate impact on departmental results. Communicate with contacts within and outside of the function. Facilitate team activities and contribute to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities. Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
Must be able to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift
Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.

Nice To Haves

6 years prior maintenance experience.
Associate degree in a technical field.
Prior experience with preventative maintenance skills.
Prior experience working with CNC equipment.
Certified residential electrical license
